My Ballerina Part 2, Solo Competition

Remember my post here where I shared a photo of my daughter in an arabesque? Well, I finally had some down time to edit a few more from that day. My heart smiles when I see these images and just how beautiful and graceful and strong and confident she is. I could not have molded her this way even if I tried, she was born this way, and I am so lucky to be her mama. My daughter is 11 1/2 years old and will be competing this weekend at a dance competition in SC. She has competed before but only as part of a group ensemble. This weekend she is performing 3 times, 2 are group pieces and the 3rd is a solo!  I am so proud and excited for her. She is performing en pointe to Kitri Variation from Don Quixote. I hope to be able to video record it but I have to see if I can from backstage/side stage. For now I will leave you with the rest of the photos we took outside. All photography is © Jennifer King and Jennifer King Photography and may not be saved, copied, altered or printed in any way.
